VIJAYPUR, Sept 19: Apni Party’s Contesting Candidate, and former Minister, Manjit Singh today seek support from people of all the sections of society and promised the development and employment for youth of Vijaypur.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said, “The people faced negligence for years as the authorities were not ready to listen to them. These elections have become a ray of hope for them to elect their own representative from the Vijaypur Constituency.”
“The Apni Party, if it forms the Government, will formulate a comprehensive policy for the recruitment of educated unemployed youth in the vacant Government posts in a fair manner. A special recruitment drive will be launched especially for the border residents of Samba District for their recruitment in paramilitary, police, and other armed forces of the country,” he assured.
Singh said that the people want an elected representative that is available to them and their issues can be addressed easily.
“The issue of underdevelopment, poor infrastructure, lack of school buildings, crumbling classrooms, schools want repair work, separate toilet facility for girls in schools, upgradation of schools from primary to the high, higher schools, opening of new colleges, improvement in medical care and other infrastructure in the health sector, and shortage of staff in educational as well as health institutions is also an issue for the people in Vijaypur that would also be addressed by his party,” he added.
