Manohar convenes public grievance camp

KATHUA, Aug 10: Minister of State for Fisheries, Cooperatives, Finance and Planning, Dr Manohar Lal Sharma convened monthly public grievance camp at PWD Rest House at Billawar today.
Peoples from different parts of tehsil Billawar attended the grievance camp and apprised their problems and demands to the Minister. A deputation from Christian Mohalla Billawar met with minister and highlighted their problems related to power, water and road connectivity. Another deputation comprising RMSA and of ReT Teachers met the Minister regarding their issues of pending salary.
While addressing the people, Dr Manohar said Government has decided to open new ration sale depot in each and every village of state which will solve the problem of ration supply in villages.
He disclosed that new road under NABARD from Gurha Kaliyal Dandiyan to Khuban with estimated cost 3.5 crore will be started shortly. He said roads are the instrument of development which further paves the way for the welfare of people.
Dr Sharma assured that all the genuine demands will be addressed on priority and within time frame. He assured that issue of pending salaries under RAMSA and SSA will be addressed soon. He also passed directions to the concerned officers of the different departments to address their grievances within time. He exhorted upon the officers to pass instructions to the field functionaries to make stand by provisions to meet drinking water supply through tankers.
Later, Dr Sharma also distributed two cheques under Chief Minister Relief Fund where in a cheque of Rs 25000 was given to Angrez Kumar resident of Billawar and another cheque of Rs 5000 was given to Mohd. Sahil resident of Dhadwara.
Later, Dr Sharma also distributed cheques of Rs 25000 each as second installment among 34 Fisherman’s under Central Sponsored Scheme (CSS) Welfare of Fisherman.
