JAMMU, Aug 1: Mansi Lalotra a student of seventh standard of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana brought Laurels to the School by winning gold medal in the 1st Asian Matsogi-Do Championship-2014.
This Championship was organized by Nepal Matsogi-Do Club at National Sports Council, Triputeshwor, Kathmandu in Nepal.
Over 400 players/officials from six Countries including India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh participated in this Championship to hone their skills and vie for the top honours.
Mansi Lalotra defeated two Nepali girls to clinch the gold.
After returning from Nepal Mansi was given a warm welcome in the School premises by Gaurav Charak (Principal) along with Anku Charak (Vice Principal), Pankaj Mehra (Coach), Poonam (Coach), Akashdeep Raina (Incharge), Nitin Jamwal and Ajay Kumar (PTI).
On this occasion, Principal of the School said that the school management is leaving no stone unturned in promoting Physical Education and building sports infrastructure.
