While addressing huge gathering Manyal highlighted various welfare and developmental schemes launched by Modi Government as well as the Coalition Government in the State and asked workers to make people aware of these schemes so that the common man can take advantage of the same.
People from village Kaloha, Kupri, Sumb, Taloor attended the public darbar.
They apprised the MLA of various problems being faced by them. They projected their demands in respect of drinking water, adequate power supply, proper road connectivity, medicare facilities, upgardation of transformer, boundary wall for Middle school Kupri and shortage of teaching staff in school.
People also highlighted the poor condition of various water supply schemes in the area and demanded to ensure regular supply of clean drinking water to all villages, black topping on various link roads of Kapuri and Kaloha.
MLA after listening to the problems of people, sought reports from the concerned officers and directed them for early redressal of the issues.
Responding to the shortage of teaching staff in school MLA directed ZEO Samba to deploy one Master and three teachers for said school.
He urged the ZEO to take up construction work of boundary wall under SSA.
Manyal also urged all officers to conduct awareness camps to apprise people about welfare schemes. The MLA said that he is committed for socio-economic empowerment of the people especially those living in hilly, remote and far-flung areas. He emphasized on regular monitoring of the development works besides use of quality material. He said no stone would be left unturned in redressing genuine grievances of the people.
On the issue of power MLA urged the PDD officials to upgrade transformer and ensure the uninterrupted power supply in the area, especially during this Summer seasons so that general public won’t face any problem. MLA announced one transformer from his CDF for village Kupri.
Dr. Manyal announced 10 lacs for various development works in village Kupri out of his CDF.
