Manzoor’s double strike helps JKP ‘B’ to register easy win

SRINAGAR, Oct 7: Sailing on splendid back to back goals by Manzoor, the Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP) ‘B’ team blanked Syed Tajuddin by four goals to nil (4-0) to advance in the ongoing
J&K Bank Football League Tournament 2012, organized by Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA), here.
Manzoor gave his team early lead by netting a superb goal in 14th minute of the match and scored the another goal in 40th minute to help his team increase the lead, which was followed by another goal scored in 46th minute by Ramez, while Rayees scored the 4th goal in 48th minute to help their team win by (4-0).
Earlier, in the first match played today, Young Lal Chowk trounced J&K Bank ‘B’ by a solitary goal. The first half of the match ended goalless, while in the second half the lone goal was scored by Rayees from Young Lal Chowk in 60th minute of the game.
In another match J&K PDC ‘B’ thrashed Young Iqbal by four goals to nil (4-0). Danan, Rahul Kumar, Amarjeet Singh and Aqib netted the goals in 14th, 16th,  20th and 69 minute of the match respectively.
Iqbal Sports Club drubbed Young Maharaja by three goals to one (3-1). Gh Mohd, Shabir and Afshan Ahmad were the goal scorers for Iqbal Sports, while Mushtaq scored the lone goal for Young Maharaja.
In last match of the day, Food & Supplies thrashed Solina ‘A’ by five goals to nil (5-0) in a one sided affair. Imran scored first goal in 22nd minute, Yaseen netted 2nd goal in 39th minute, Ajaz scored third in 46th minute, while 4th goal was scored  by Aishan in 57th minute and Himayu score the 5th goal of the match in 70th minute.
