JAMMU, Feb 21: All round performance by skipper Rajesh Salhotra guided Martand Sunrisers to register an empathetic win over Saffron CC in KPL tournament, played at KC Sports Club Ground, here today.
After winning the toss, the Martand Sunrisers made 106 runs in stipulated overs. Skipper Rajesh Salhotra made highest 29 runs, while Guptil, Vijay and Ajay made 18, 15 and 13 runs respectively. From Saffron CC, Amit and Arun took three wickets each while Rakesh Koul bagged two wickets.
Chasing the set target, the Saffron CC bundled out at 101 runs. Vicky was the only batsman who made 31 runs.
Rajesh Salhotra was declared man of the match for his all round performance.
