JAMMU, Dec 26: Martand Sunrisers CC defeated Sharika Diagnostic CC by 76 runs in KPL Veterans Cup, being played, here today.
Superb batting performance by Anil Tiger with 62 runs and 38 runs in just14 balls by Rajesh Kumar helped Martand Sunrisers CC to beat Sharika Diagnostic CC with 76 runs.
Batting first Martand Sunrisers made 216 runs by losing seven wickets. Vijay, Guptil and Sunil made 27, 24 and 22 runs respectively. From Sharika CC, Chandji and Vivek took two wickets each while Anil and Rohit bagged one wicket.
In reply, Sharika Diagnostic CC bundled out for 139 runs. Anil Bushan made highest 48 runs. For Martand Sunrisers, Rajesh Kumar and Ambardar took two wickets each while Captain Ajay Tikoo took one wicket. Anil Tiger was declared as man of the match.
