POONCH, Jan 1: The Martyrs Premier League concluded at Army Ground near Natu Auditorium Poonch. Family members of martyred Shaheed Aurangzeb, Shaheed Rajinder Kumar Raju, and Shaheed Abdul Majeed, graced the occasion, adding a poignant touch to the event. Advocate Syed Zeshan, Chairman of Haq Insaaf Council, presided over the function, leading with a spirit of remembrance and resilience.
Commander 93 Infantry Brigade, Rajesh Bisht, Colonel Avijit, Syed Abid Shah Assistant Commissioner Development Poonch, Inspector Deepak Pathania, Station House Officer Poonch, Pardeep Khanna, Syed Zaki Chairman ACT, Prem Prakash Luthra former District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Sardar Surjan Singh, Dr Mohd Shabaz Bhat, Dr Waseem, Shahid Sikander Prosecuting Officer, Nawaz Sharif Prosecuting Officer, Javed Lone, Tanveer Choudhary, Imran Shah and others were present on this occasion.
In the three different games of Volleyball, Football and Cricket, Star Viper emerged victorious in the Cricket tournament; City FC claimed the championship title in the Football tournament meanwhile Chandak Warriors secured the top spot in the Volleyball tournament. All participating teams were honoured with trophies and cash rewards, recognizing their dedication and sportsmanship throughout the league.
