JAMMU, Dec 16: Masarat Qadir of PG Department of Jammu University claimed 1st place in the Inter-Collegiate cross country (women) championship 2014-15 at New University Campus, here today.
Nidha Rashid of P G Department of Jammu University stood 2nd, while the 3rd position was claimed by Jigmet Diksit of GCW Parade.
The event was organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education University of Jammu.
Prof Dhian S Bhau, Director, Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu flagged off the race in presence of Sumnesh Sharma, Dr Mandeep Singh, Suman Lata, Mukesh Sharma, Dr Brij Baloria, Rajkumar Bakshi, Vikesh Sharma, Goutam, Ravish Vaid, Gagan Kumar, Jai Baharat, Vikas Karlopia, Pawan Singh, Arjun Singh and P D Singh.
The event was organized under the supervision of Athletic coaches Nirmal Singh and Harsimran Singh.
