JAMMU, Dec 4: Bahujan Samaj Party national president Mayawati will address a public rally here on December 7 for the phase 4 Assembly elections.
Maulana Azad Stadium has been fixed as the venue of the rally expecting thousands of party workers, leaders and BSP supporters taking part in the rally, a senior party leader said.
He said BSP has emerged as a bigger force in the State Assembly elections and with the visit of Ms Mayawati, there will be a change in total equations in Jammu and Kashmir politics.
BSP has announced 55 candidates from different constituencies of J&K.
Meanwhile, the venue has been put under siege and security has also been beefed up around the stadium. The Fourth and Fifth Phase of elections in which four districts including Samba, Jammu, Kathua and Rajouri will be held on December 14 and December 20 respectively.
