JAMMU, Apr 7: The Reasi district administration has completed the sealing of illegal under construction structures, which fall under the jurisdiction of Municipal Committee Katra and Katra Development Authority while as sealing of buildings on the Forest Department will be carried out tomorrow.
An official spokesman said that in compliance to the directions of the High Court, the Reasi district administration has sealed a total of 41 under-construction buildings, which fall under the purview of the latest directions of the Division Bench. On April 5, the KDA and Municipal Committee had sealed 28 structures while as eight more structures were sealed today raising the number to 36. Five structures were sealed while implementing the previous directions of the High Court.
Meanwhile, Forest Department has initiated process for sealing of 17 illegal structures constructed on forest land along the Katra-Domail road.
District Magistrate, Dr Shahid Iqbal Choudhary has directed the Border Roads Organization to immediately remove all illegal structures, hoardings and buildings and submit compliance report within one week.
