JAMMU, Aug 26: The MCA Department of Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu, organized sports activities in the disciplines of Badminton, Chess and Table Tennis.
In Badminton, number of students from different semesters of MCA Department participated with zeal and enthusiasm. After that Table Tennis was played in which students had neck to neck combat for victory and at last Chess competition also attracted a huge crowd and enjoyed the thrilling performance of the participants.
The first prize in badminton (doubles) was entitled to Tanniya Jamwal and Pallavi Thakur. In Table Tennis and Chess the first prize was awarded to Ritav Proach and Karamjeet Kour respectively.
The closing ceremony was attended by all the faculty of the campus and the students of the MCA department.
Earlier, Sourabh Shastri, Incharge Head, MCA Department, presented the welcome address.
Rector, Bhaderwah Campus Prof GM Bhat assured all help for organizing co-curricular activities in future also.
Kujit Singh, Academic Coordinator, Dr Neeraj Sharma, Chering Tandup, Rohit Bhagat, Sunil Bhardwaj, Mr Awais, Mrs Bablu Sharma, Muzaffar Hamid, Nitin Kotwal, Haris Riaz, Abrar Sheikh, Amit Kumar, Gourav and Aamir were also present.
