JAMMU, Sept 26: Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) team gained a vital lead of 76 runs over JKCA in a 3-day match of MCA’s Bhausaheb Nimbalkar Tournament at Deccan Gymkhana Ground in Pune.
Resuming from an overnight score of 47/2, J&K bundled out for 177 runs in 52.5 overs as Nikit Dhumal wrecked havoc and took 7 wickets by conceding 59 runs in his 20.3 overs. Overnight batsman, Ahmed Bandey scored 28 runs, while Owais Shah contributed 19 runs to the total. Manik Gupta was the top scorer with 33 runs, while Asif Rasool, Gokul Baru and Paras Sharma contributed 20, 13 and 11 runs to the total respectively. For MCA, apart from Nikit Dhumal’s 7-wicket haul, Anmol Chinte bagged 2 wickets, while Satyajet Bachhav claimed one.
