MCC Chandwan, KCC Kathua win ties in SCA T20

KATHUA, Dec 9: MCC Chandwan KCC Kathua registered wins over their rivals  in the State Cricket Academy T20 Cricket Tournament,  being organized by J&K State Sports Council, here.
Earlier, in the first match, MCC Chandwan defeated Sunny Cricket Club by 5 wickets. Batting first, Sunny Cricket Club scored meagre 84 runs in 16 overs. Sonu (26) and  Kaka (12)  were the main contributors. From bowling side, Chicky and Sunny  took 2 wickets each.
In reply MCC chased the target in 12.3 overs by losing 5 wickets, thus won the match by 5 wickets. The main scorers were Sahil (32) and Vicky (20).
From bowling side, Kaka and Mani took 2 wickets each. Sahil was adjudged as the man of the match.
Parul Bardwaj, DySP Headquarters Kathua was the chief guest who was introduced with the participating teams on the occasion.
In another match, Stadium XI Kathua defeated  Nikhal XI by 6 wickets.
Batting first, Nikhal CC made 100 runs in 20 overs for the loss of 7 wickets. Sanjeev 23 runs and Nikhal 21 runs were the main contributors. From bowling side, Surinder took 4 wickets, Mayank took 3 wickets.
In reply, Stadium XI chased the target in 12.5 overs for the 4 wickets. The main scorers were Himanshu (34) and Karan (24). From bowling side, Nihal took 3 wickets,  while Munish claimed 1 wicket. Himanshu was declared as the man of the match.
