MCC trounces YCC by 18 runs

JAMMU, Jan 23: Muslim Cricket Club defeated Youth Cricket Club by 18 runs to advance in the ongoing 3rd Parmodh Memorial T20 Cricket Tournament, being organized by Mandal Cricket Club at Mandal, near here.
Batting first, MCC scored 142 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. Latif and Nazim scored 23 runs each, while Yasir contributed 20 runs to the total. Bakhtawar captured 3 wickets for YCC, while Surinder and Balbir claimed 2 wickets each.
In reply, YCC bundled out for 124 runs in 18.2 overs, thus lost the match by 18 runs. Ajay and Sushil with 38 and 30 runs respectively were the main contributors. Salim was the wrecker-in-chief for MCC, who bagged 4 wickets by conceding 30 runs in 4 overs, while Munir claimed 2 and Hussain bagged one wicket.
The match was officiated by Monu Sharma and Balbir Sharma as umpires, while Sunny was the scorer. GS Michael is the organizing secretary of the tournament.
