JAMMU, Oct 11: All J&K Mechanical Engineers Association has demanded creation of posts for the newly created districts.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the leadership of R K Kohli, its president, the members discussed the demands. They urged the Chief Minister to issue orders for the creation of new posts for the new districts created in the State. They also demanded that stagnation in the department be removed and vacant posts be filled up shortly besides issuing orders of regularization of the AEs and above. They demanded that traveling allowances of junior engineers be increased from Rs 30 to Rs 1000 per month.
