JAMMU, Oct 29: Vaishno Group of Colleges has been exploring the education and intellectual interests of the youth in commendable manner by organizing cultural and technical festivals and seminars, etc.
Another such initiative put together by Vaishno College of Engineering was the Mega Job fair, in which over 20 eminent companies participated.
This was the third time that the college is conducting a programme at such a large level in Pathankot and adjoining areas. Various multinationals like CBITTS, Netmax, AIPL, Acme Soft, Impact Engineers, VEE Soft, Intellisense, Galaxy, The Technical Zone, MILS, Soniel, Conjoinix and Paras. A number of students were placed and offered exciting packages. Job opportunities were available for B Tech, BBA, MBA, BCA, MCA, Diploma and ITI qualified and pursuing candidates.
After the successful completion of the recruitment process containing aptitude test, group discussion followed by personal interview, 60 candidates were selected from Vaishno Group of Colleges and other nearby colleges.
Directors, Vaishno Group of College, Varun Gupta and Rahul Pathania received positive feedback from the participating companies, about the overall infrastructure and quality of education offered.
Lt Col A K Khajuria said that such job fairs would prove beneficial for both employees and employers of any organization.
