Mega sports event ‘Tirangaa’ gets underway at Banyan International

JAMMU, Aug 28: A mega sports event ‘Tirangaa’ got underway at Banyan International School, here today.
The participating Schools in the event included Jodhamal Public School, KC Public School, KC Gurukul School, Shiksha Niketan, MV International School, GD Goenka, Model Academy and Stephens International School.
The students of all groups from kindergarten to 12th standard are taking part in the event.
The event included colouring, quiz, just a minute, hurdle race, unscramble, snakes and ladders, crossword, dance with a prop, tug of war, relay race and yoga.
Pramod Jain was the guest of honour, while Dimple Mohindra, Miho Mahajan and T R Ramesh were also present on the occasion.
Banyan International School outshone other schools in unscramble, hurdle race and relay race and was declared overall winner of the event, while Jodhamal Public School emerged 1st runners-up and KC Gurukul Public School remained 2nd runners-up.
The event ended with a vote of thanks by School Head boy, Hitesh Kumar.
