SRINAGAR, Sept 12: The culture wing of Chief Education Office Srinagar organized District level Mehfil-Mushaira at S. P. Higher Secondary School, today.
The teachers and students of various educational institutions participated in the Mushaira which was presided over by Chief Education Officer Srinagar Nazir Ahmad Kanth.
The participants recited poetry which touched different aspects of the life and society.
In the students category Ist, 2nd and 3rd position was bagged by Siama of Hr. Secondary School, Amirakadal, Shah Nawaz of Higher Secondary School Amdakadal and Mariya of Hr. Secondary School Malik Sahib respectively.
In teacher’s category 1st , 2nd and 3rd position was bagged by Rosy Jan of Hr. Secondary School, Amirakadal, Rukhsana of Middle School, Barzulla and Mehraj – ud – Din of Middle School, Gulabagh respectively. The function was anchored by district coordination Fayez Ahmad Fayez.
