LONDON, Oct 25: Singer Mel B is still hopeful that Victoria Beckham and Mel C will be part of The Spice Girls reunion.
Mel B is due to get together with Emma Bunton and Geri Horner, who is pregnant with her first child with her husband Christian Horner, next year for a proposed concert and potentially new music to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the release of their debut single “Wannabe” and first album “Spice”.
Victoria and Mel C, known as Posh Spice and Sporty Spice in the band, have both publicly ruled themselves out of the reunion, with Posh wanting to focus on her fashion label and Sporty concentrating on her solo music, reported Female First.
Mel B, however, has hinted there still maybe a chance the two members could be convinced to be part of the Spice Girls’ get-together.
Quizzed on what was happening with Victoria and Mel C on Australian breakfast TV show “Sunrise”, she quipped, “I killed the other two!”
Mel B, 41, then added, “Who said they’re not going to possibly be involved? Until it actually gets going, everything’s a bit up in the air.” (PTI)
