The residents of Mendhar have been facing acute shortage of water since last few months. The water shortage has disrupted the lives of people considerably here. The people had highlighted the problem through protests in many colonies-Mohra Kallra, Harniari Kalaban Sagra, Balakote Sangoite and Nakamanjhari etcsome time back. But nothing has happened so far. The concerned authorities are requested to wake up to this problem at the earliest.

Black topping of Kabir Chowk
A request is made to Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation that the lane mentioned above was black topped in the year 2008 by your department. The black top of our lane is now nowhere as it has got damaged due to rains, year after year. Ditches have occurred at several places which will aggreviate problem further with the onset of monsoon as such the lane needs immediate black topping.
Moreover, the existing drain which is maintained by JMC Department needs prefiburcated covers near main road crossing as it is very deep at that place. There is always apprehension of falling in the drain of human beings and animals.
Keeping above facts into consideration it is requested to black-top the road of our lane alongwith the covering of the drain of vital point near main road Durga Nagar Sector-I at an earliest.

Erratic power supply in Raipur Domana
We the residents of Raipur Domana are facing a lot of power cuts in the area. We experience a 12 hour power cut almost daily. The voltage is too low to allow electronic gadgets run smoothly. The area despite being metered is subjected to these cuts. It has made our life very miserable and there is respite from it in the scorching sun unless power situation improves considerably.
We request the Power Minister and our representative Bali Bhagat to look into the matter at the earliest.

Repair Talab Tillo road
The condition of Road leading towards Jewel Chowk to Talab Tillo, Jammu is quite bad and needs immediate repairs for smooth running of traffic. The bad condition of this road results in daily traffic jams in the area in which we the locals suffer a lot especially the patients who at times immediate first aid.
We request the concerned authorities and the Minister concerned to take note of the problems. The MLA representing us has failed to address this problems so far.

Toilet trouble
Though Govt is taking all possible measures to provide facility to the school going children but due to the lack of proper supervision and care these are not serving any purpose to the children. In Govt. Middle School Devak (a part of HSS Devak) toilets were already constructed 3-4 years ago but no attention is paid to them. Now one more toilet is being constructed there without any purpose because already constructed are lying useless and in bad condition. New construction is against a misuse of money without necessity.

Water leaking pipe
Water gushes out from a leaking water pipe at Parade. Despite being in full view at the spot, PHE has not bothered to plug it. The loss of water is causing great inconvenience to the people and is damaging the road.
The PHE authorities are requested to plug the pipe at the earliest.
