POONCH, Dec 16: In a thrilling final match, Mendhar Supergiants emerged victorious by defeating Jat 11 by 5 wickets to claim the championship title in a cricket tournament held in the Mendhar sub-division of Poonch, here today.
The tournament, which featured six teams, was organized by local youth in collaboration with the Mendhar Gunners of the Indian Army. The winners were awarded Rs 55,000 in cash along with a trophy, while the runners-up received Rs 35,000 and other prizes.
The event was highly appreciated by the local youth, who highlighted the significance of such initiatives in promoting sports and fostering community spirit.
