Mess created in PDS: Shabir

Excelsior Correspondent
RAJOURI, Mar 11: PCC general secretary and former CAPD  Minister Shabir Ahmed Khan has blamed the PDP-BJP coalition of creating mess in the public distribution system in the State, leading to hue and cry over ration in various parts of the State,  whereas its leaders are now blaming the Governor’s administration in order to shift their responsibility and mislead the public in the matter.
In a statement Khan has said that it is quite unfair on the part of the leaders of the erstwhile Coalition Govt, especially those who have  held the charge of heading the department of CAPD, to blame the Governor’s administration and pass on the responsibilities, after creating mess in the PDS system by disturbing the existing system and scales of ration being supplied to the people.
He said that decision to implement the NFSA in haste without proper and systematic homework as well as examining the implications of its implementation in the present form, was the credit taking exercise of the PDP-BJP Govt. The present crises on this front is the gift of the PDP-BJP coalition and they should now own the responsibilities also and help solve the problem by extending all sorts of  support to the present dispensation, instead of misleading the people of the State, Khan said.
Congress leader said that ten months of PDP-BJP misrule has created lot of difficulties for the administration and the people and all the developmental works and other welfare measures were derailed. He said that the twin border districts of Rajouri-Poonch have suffered the most in every sphere and worst neglected during this regime.
He alleged that all the projects initiated or sanctioned by UPA Govt and the NC-Congress regime have either not seen light of the day or neglected and all sorts of developmental activities have come to a grinding halt . The people are suffering for want of basic necessities like ration, power, water supply and other such facilities while employees and workers of different department are agitating on roads.
