JAMMU, May 1: Maha Ganesh Asthapan Committee (MGAC) Brantal in association with ‘biradari’ of Sirru, Pattan, Kashmir, organized an Annual ‘Maha Yagya’ at Dugra Mandir, Durga Nagar, here today.
Hundreds of devotes attended the Yagya to seek blessings of Lord Ganesha.
The Yagya was performed under the spiritual guidance of Pt Janki Nath Ji and Pt Ashok Ji.
Bhajans and kirtans were also performed on the occasion which brought ecstatic feeling to one and all.
The organizers had stalled Chhabeels and fruits for comfort of the devotees.
Late Swami Gopi Nath Ji’s book on religious poetry namely ‘Prem Ras’ hit the stalls on the occasion.
Elaborate security and other allied arrangements were made for the comfort of the devotees.
The Yagya was organized by the members of MGAC Brantal including Girdhari Lal Pandita, PL Pandita, Daya Krishen Koul, HN Bhat, Chaman Lal Koul, AK Dhar, Kiran Ji Koul, Yograj Koul and Raju Dhar.
