Contest by 1 wicket in the ongoing Patriots Cup 50 Over Cricket Tournament being played at Country Cricket Stadium Gharota, near here.
Opting to bat after winning the toss, Laxmi Club scored a modest total of 155 runs in 44 overs. Vikram top scored with 37 runs, while Dhruv Mahajan and Sameer Khajuria contributed 27 and 22 runs to the total respectively. Pranav Mahajan took 4 top order wickets in a brilliant display of medium pace, while Rajiv Jamwal got 2 wickets. Nityam, Sampark, Samarpit and Sahil claimed 1 wicket each .
MGCA in reply, reached the target by losing 9 wickets to win the match by 1 wicket. Ajay Sharma top scored with 48 runs, while Sampark contributed valuable 29 runs to the total. From Laxmi Club, Rohan Koul took 3 wickets, while Sameer Khajuria bagged 2 wickets. Yogesh Sikka, Dhruv Mahajan and Govind claimed one wicket each.
