MHAC Nagbani organizes recreational competitions

JAMMU, Oct 17: Annual Rangoli, Matkas Decoration and Pooja Thaalis competitions were held at Inter House Level AT mhac School Nagbani, here today.
More than 250 entries were registered where in around 500 students participated.
The assembly ground of senior School, Halls of Middle & Junior wing got decorated with beautiful Rangolis, Thaalis and Matkas made by the students.
The competitions were judged by the adjudicators including Dr Malti and Dr Revika from Govt. College for Women, Gandhi Nagar and Vishakha Khajuria from G D Goenka School, Jammu. Judges appreciated the creativity and efforts of all the participants and found it tough to select the best entries.
Bhoomika Khajuria from Gulab House was adjudged 1st whereas Trivani Dogra from Amar House and Ipshita Pathania from Pratap house won the second position in Matka decoration Competition held for Classes 5th and 6th.
Archita Mahajan & Aksha Padha both from Pratap House were adjudged first in Puja Thaali Competition for Class 7th and 8th. In the same competition, Shriya from Pratap House got 2nd position.
Rangoli Competition was organized for classes IX to XII under two categories of Pre Senior and Senior on Inter House basis. Palak Suri and Ankita Jandyal from Amar House and Ashita Priyanshu from Ranbir House bagged 1st position in Pre Senior , while the 1st position in Senior Group (XI –XII Class) was bagged by Urja  Zutshi and Divya Sharma, Harshita Gandotra and Priya from Ranbir House.
Principal Alok Betab thanked the judges for their valuable suggestions and encouraged the participants and the winners on the occasion.
