JAMMU, Sept 13: The students of MHAC Nagbani excelled in the Inter-School Athletic Meet for boys, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at Jammu University Grounds, here recently.
The School claimed 17 medals in the Championship which included 4 gold, 6 silver and 7 bronze.
In Under-14 boys, Keshav, Randeep, Gurshan and Roshan bagged silver in 4×100 Mtr Relay, while Keshav Singh Chib and Roshan claimed bronze in 600 Mtr and Discus Throw respectively.
In Under-17 boys, Kajal Singh clinched triple jump gold, apart from 100 and 200 Mtr silver, Kajal, Gourav, Vishal and Sahil claimed silver in 4×100 Mtr Relay. Sahil Kumar and Gourav Singh bagged bronze in Long Jump and 1500 Mtr race.
Meanwhile, in Under-19 boys, Rakesh Singh clinched gold in 200 Mtrs, silver in Triple Jump and bronze in 100 Mtrs, while Yashpal bagged gold in 800 Mtrs and 1500 Mtrs race and bronze in Long Jump. Rohan Sharma claimed silver in 5000 Mtrs.
