JAMMU, Sept 21: MHAC School Nagbani, Jammu, celebrated the birthday of Maharaja Hari Singh with a tribute ceremony filled with reverence and joy here today. The celebration welcomed esteemed guests, including Tushar Kant Sharma (Retired IAS officer), visionary educationist I.D. Soni, and Susheel Jamwal, along with local citizens. The guests were given a traditional welcome, symbolizing respect and hospitality, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The ceremony began with the guests paying their respects at the statue of Maharaja Hari Singh, offering floral tributes as a gesture of gratitude for his immense contributions to the region. A sacred hawan was conducted at the Yagyashala, enhancing the spiritual ambiance of the occasion. Students of MHAC School performed a soulful Dogri song in honor of Maharaja Hari Singh, adding a cultural touch to the celebration.
Brij Mohan, Principal of MHAC School, delivered a heartfelt tribute, emphasizing the Maharaja’s significant achievements and the rich history of Jammu and Kashmir. To foster a spirit of unity, gifts were distributed to guest schools. Additionally, I.D. Soni presented his book, “How to Lead a Peaceful Life,” to Principal Brij Mohan, marking the event with a thoughtful exchange of wisdom. The celebration beautifully combined reverence for history with an emphasis on unity and education.
