MIER Academy seals berth in finals of Jammu Cup U-14 Cricket Tournament

JAMMU, June 9: MIER Cricket Academy defeated Col RN Chopra Cricket Academy by 59 runs to seal berth in the Jammu Cup Under-14 Boys Cricket Tournament at Railway Ground, here.
The tournament is being organised under the overall supervision of Balbir Singh by Greenfield Cricket Academy Jammu.
Manish Sahni from Shiv Sena was the chief guest on the occasion.
Winning the toss and electing to bat first, MIER Academy scored 161 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Shaurya top scored with 31 runs, while Rudra contributed valuable 26 runs to the total. From R N Chopra Academy, Ashank and Mannat took 2 wickets each.
In reply, R N Chopra Academy bundled out for 103 runs. Aganjot scored 26 runs and Adhijay remained unbeaten on 24 runs. From MIER Cricket Academy Abhiudhay and Sagar took 4 and 3 wickets respectively. Abhiudhay was adjudged as the man of the match for his brilliant performance.
