JAMMU, Apr 28: The Alumni Committee of MIER College of Education organized an engaging Entrepreneurship Talk to inspire B.Ed. students and strengthen alumni ties. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Vikram Gulati, an alumnus and current Principal of Happy Model Foundation, Udhampur and Shivalik College of Education, Jammu.
Prof. Adit Gupta, Director and Principal of MIER College of Education, welcomed Dr. Gulati and highlighted his remarkable achievements and leadership in the education sector.
Dr. Gulati shared his professional journey, offering practical insights into entrepreneurship and leadership. He emphasized values such as innovation, resilience, and ethical decision-making, encouraging students to pursue ventures in and beyond the education field. He also guided them on identifying opportunities, building teams, and managing resources effectively.
Dr. Nishta Rana, Head, School of Education (SOE) and Dr. Monika Bajaj, Head, School of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSSH), presented a memento to the speaker. The session concluded with a warm vote of thanks by Arpana Koul, Incharge, Alumni Committee, acknowledging the efforts of the speaker, faculty, and students.
