JAMMU, Dec 20: In an Inter-Collegiate Badminton tournament, MIER Jammu outplayed PG. Department Jammu University by 2-0 and lifted the Women trophy which was organized by the Directorate of Sports & Physical Education, University of Jammu at University Gymnasium Hall.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba Director, Directorate of Sports & Physical Education University Jammu awarded Trophies & Medals to the winner & runner up teams in the presence of Raj Kumar Bakshi, Vikas Karlopia, Gagan Kumar, Sukomal Ganguly, Imran Ahmed and Deepak Singh.
Meanwhile, the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu also organized a Marathon under the event Viksit Bharat@2047 in which around 160 students participated. The students who secured 1st, 2nd & 3rd positions in (Men & Women) category were (Men Section) Rajnesh Singh, Parvez Ahmed and Rohit Kumar respectably while in (Women Section) Sapna Devi, Neha and Priya secured positions respectably.
