JAMMU, Sept 19: On the Sixth day of ‘Display Your Talent-2015-16’ organized by the Department of Students Welfare, University of Jammu, Quiz competition was conducted at Brig. Rajinder Singh Auditorium, University of Jammu, here.
Dean Students Welfare, Prof. Pankaj K Srivastava, Dr. Anupama Vohra (Associate Deans, Students Welfare), Prof. Alka Sharma (Co-Chairperson Campus Culture Committee) Dr. Yudbir Singh, Dr A R Manhas (Assistant Deans, Students Welfare), Dr. Tirath Ram and various faculty members and office bearers of the University of Jammu were present during at the occasion.
Dr Anil Gupta was the Quiz Master in the event, 27 teams participated and the teams which qualified for finals were from Model Institute of Education and Technology (MIET), Department of Geography, JU, Department of Political Science, JU. Department of Physics and Electronics, JU and the Law School, JU.
In finals, the team consisting of Ankur Mahajan, Sanjay Kumar and Sahil Kumar Sharma from Model Institute of Education and Technology stood first. Sayeda Fakhara, Mitanshu Jamwal and Shajeeda Ahmed from Department of Geography stood Second and Varun Kumar, Jai Bhawani and Narender from Department of Political Science, JU secured Third Position.
The event was coordinated by Ifra Kak (Cultural Officer) and Sumeet Sharma (Drama Instructor). Surbhi Chalotra, Hempreet Kaur, Rahul Sharma, Suneedhi Sharma, Surinder Kumar, Sunakshi Sharma, Radhika Sharma, Sameeta Rana, Shahid Iqbal and Archana Sharma did the Hall Management.
Essay Writing and Short Story Writing would be conducted at the Examination Hall, University of Jammu from 10 am onwards tomorrow.
