LEH, Nov 4: Chairman/CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, inaugurated the Blue Lock Futsal Mini Ground and Football Academy in Chuchot Shamma, a project set to boost sports development in Ladakh. This advanced facility aims to nurture local football talent and engage the region’s youth in regular training and competitive sports.
The inauguration was attended by Mirza Hussain, Councillor of Chuchot; Dr. Zulfikhar Ali, Chief Controller of Finance; Mohd Baqir, Deputy Superintendent of Police; the Nambardar of Chuchot, and local villagers.
CEC Gyalson commended the vision and dedication of Arif Hussain Tsang Chow, a young sports enthusiast who spearheaded the creation of the facility to provide the region’s youth with a space for structured football training. Gyalson highlighted Arif’s selfless investment in the community, choosing to support sports over other lucrative ventures. He assured attendees that LAHDC will continue to back such initiatives that contribute to the athletic and personal development of Ladakh’s youth.
The Blue Lock Futsal Mini Ground and Football Academy marks an important step in enhancing Ladakh’s sports infrastructure, offering young athletes a platform to hone their skills and pursue football with greater commitment.
