NOWSHERA, Jan 29: A minor boy died after he allegedly consumed some poisonous substance at his residence last night.
A police spokesman said that 17-year-old, Shubam, son of Anil Sharma, resident of Nowshera town became serious after he consumed some poisonous substance at his residence here last night. The family members rushed him to local hospital where doctors provided preliminary treatment and then referred the boy to GMC Hospital Jammu but he died on the way.
The police registered a case in this connection and started investigation. The body after performing legal formalities was handed over to the family today.
