RAJOURI, Sept 2: Mystery shrouds the death of a minor girl whose body was found hanging at her residence at village Dassal last evening.
The deceased has been identified as Rubina Kouser (15), daughter of Mohd Bashir, resident Dassal Seeran village about 7 kms from here. The mother of the girl reached home from work late in the evening and found girl’s body hanging from the ceiling hook of the room. She was alone at home. The matter came to the notice of other villagers and they took up the matter with Rajouri Police.
The police shifted the body to hospital for postmortem in the morning and then handed over to the family for last rites. The police was working on all the angles including possible sexual assault on the girl. It has registered a case in this connection.
