JAMMU, Mar 26: A minor boy was killed, while three others were injured in road accidents at different locations.
As per reports, 8-year-old Satish Kumar, son of Vijay Kumar of Bhagwati Nagar, was playing outside his house, when a Maruti car hit him.
He was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where doctors pronounced him as brought dead.
The body was handed over to legal heirs after completion of legal formalities, while a case has been registered and investigation started.
In another incident, three persons were injured, when the mini-bus they were traveling in skidded off the road and rolled down in a roadside nallah near Lalyal, falling under the jurisdiction of Kanachak police station.
The injured identified as 60-year-old Bansi Lal, son of Des Raj and Amit Sharma, both residents of Lalyal and Ghulam Mohd of Akhnoor.
A case has been registered and investigation started.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kumar, son of Dwarka Nath of Badyal Brahmana, succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
He was admitted in the hospital on February 26, when an unknown vehicle hit the scooter he was riding near Digiana.
