JAMMU, June 21: Phallain Mandal police rescued a minor girl and arrested the kidnapper from Gangyal area.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by family members of a girl hailing from Kali Mansan on June 6 with police post Phallain Mandal stating that their daughter has been kidnapped by Sohan Lal, son of Babi Ram of Kaliyan Mansan, Phallain Mandal.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 106/16 under Section 363 and 109 RPC was registered at police station Satwari and investigation started.
Based on a tip-off, police team from Phallain Mandal police post conducted raid in Gangyal area and rescued the kidnapped minor girl. The accused tried to escape from the spot, but cops nabbed and arrested him.
The girl was restored to family members after completing legal formalities.
Police team led by Incharge Phallain Mandal police post SI Masqoor Ahmed Wani rescued the kidnapped minor girl and arrested the accused under the supervision of SHO Satwari Inspector Manjeet Singh, SDPO South Sachin Gupta and SP South Shaazad Salaria.
