KISHTWAR, Mar 11: Around two dozen Army personnel including Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) had a miraculous escape after a huge boulder rolled off a mountainside and smashed into the vehicle they were traveling in near Phagumarh area in this district.
The bus bearing registration number JK02A-8772 carrying 24 Army personnel were on its way to Jammu from Kishtwar, when it was hit by a huge boulder near Phagumarh this morning.
The Army personnel traveling in another bus immediately evacuated their trapped colleagues from the bus through emergency exit.
No Army personnel received injuries in the incident. However, the driver of the vehicle received some minor bruises.
Later, police also reached the spot.
