JAMMU, Nov 21: DIG Operations CRPF Jammu North SK Mishra reiterated and emphasized upon the preparedness of CRPF to combat the challenge of militancy and law and order in Jammu and Kashmir.
He was speaking during the closing ceremony of 8th batch of pre-induction training held at Zonal Training Centre, Nagrota, here. Pre-Induction training is imparted to all CRPF personnel who are newly inducted in J&K to render their services in the State.
Mishra graced the occasion as chief guest and stressed upon the need to execute, the tactics and skills learnt during the four weeks rigorous training, on the ground. He, being a well known and celebrated officer with immense operational experience, urged the trainees to hone their special interests and hobbies for a balanced personality and emphasized that training is a life-long learning process and subject to the constant changes keeping in view changing security scenario.
During the event, the performance of various personnel in the course was also recognized. HC/GD Balveer Singh of 76 Battalion CRPF was awarded All Round Best Trainee Trophy, Ct/GD Pawan Kumar of 137 Battalion CRPF was awarded Best Outdoor Trainee Trophy, HC/GD Balveer Singh of 76 Battalion CRPF and HC/GD Bimlesh Kumar Mishra 76 Battalion CRPF were jointly adjudged as best in shooting and Ct/GD Dheeraj Kumar Sharma of 166 Battalion CRPF was awarded Best in Indoor Trophy.
SK Mishra also interacted with the trainees, officers and personnel of CRPF after the function.
During the event, DK Jha Second-in-Command, Arun Kumar Deputy Commandant, Ratan Lal Deputy Commandant, Ajit Pal Singh Assistant Commandant, Apoorba Biswas Assistant Commandant, Bisapunni Assistant Commandant and other officials of Zonal Training Centre were also present.
