MLA announces Rs 10 lakh for upgrading PDD infra

DODA, Nov 15: MLA Bhaderwah Daleep Singh Parihar visited village Manoo, Block Chilli Pingal and listened to the issues of the locals.
He was accompanied by District Development Commissioner Doda Bhawani Rakwal, SDM Gandoh Dilmir Choudhary, CPO Doda Yoginder Katoch, SDPO Gandoh Sunny Gupta, besides other district and sectoral officers and a large number of people from Bhallesa area.
MLA interacted with the people and took stock of the problems being faced by them. He issued on the spot directions to concerned officers for early redressal of grievances projected by the people.
The demands raised by the public included land compensation amount acquired for roads and various other projects, black topping of road from Malikpura to Bhatolli, payments under MGNREGA, opening of a Bank at Manoo, shortage of teachers in different schools of Chilli and Manoo and a Primary Health Centre at Manoo.
People also demanded early completion of school at Swari, a receiving station at Malikpura, installation of news poles and repair of electric lines, augmentation of water supplies and repair of pipes in the area. The residents also complained of over changing of fare by local transporters and demanded plying of SRTC bus on the route.
Other issues regarding ration supply, pension for old aged and handicap people were also projected before the MLA.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA assured the public that the projected issues will be looked into on priority. He directed all the sectoral officers to speed up the execution of the works with quality monitoring.
Regarding argumentation of power supply, repair and installation of electric poles, MLA announced Rs 10 lakh for Power Development Department out of his CDF. He also distributed LPG gas connections to various BPL beneficiaries under Ujjwala Scheme.
Directions were also passed to AD FCS&CA to distribute 3 months ration in advance to the people so that people do not face problem in winters. He also assured the public that matter of starting SRTC bus service in the area will be taken up on priority basis. MLA further assured that the issue of road to Manoo will be taken with appropriate authorities for immediate redressal.
