MLA inaugurates HC pumps, other works in Akhnoor

JAMMU, Nov 19: Keeping the pace of development and continuing his efforts to give benefit to common masses MLA Akhnoor, Rajiv Sharma inaugurated different development works including installation of three HC pumps, pipelines and water supply schemes in Akhnoor constituency. The total souls covered are 5000 with an estimated cost of 36 lakh.
The three HC pumps from CDF of MLA, Akhnoor which where installed at pumping stations Nud, Sohal old & Sungal were inaugurated by MLA each costing Rs 5.50 lakh including cost of pump and installation charges.
Rising Main at Jourian costing Rs 15 lakh started for interconnecting all the OHTs
Pipe line at Gopala costing Rs 4.5 lakh was also inaugurated which was a long pending demand of village.
The MLA while speaking said pumping stations of Fatwal and Muthi Mera were also taken up recently.
MLA said that these water supply schemes will be a boon for the inhabitants. He said that Coalition Government is working day and night to reach common masses with all the benefits from the Government, “we are moving ahead with good pace on the agenda of development and upliftment of each and every citizen of the State. We are working on the agenda of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas”, so that each and every citizen of society can get equal opportunities and benefits”, he added.
He said  “we have completed black topping of almost all the major roads of the constituency and those which have not been blacktopped are also in pipe line. The Coalition Government has only one agenda and that is the development for which we are committed”, he added.
MLA also assured people of the Constituency that all the genuine demands will be fulfilled on priority basis. Besides, Executive Engineer PHE Akhnoor, AEE, JE, Manmohan Singh, Sobha Ram, Kaka Ram, Dalbir Pawar and other people of the concerned area were present.
