KATHUA, Nov 16: Dr. Bharat Bhushan, MLA Kathua, inaugurated ‘The Champion Turf’, a privately developed cricket facility in the city, marking a significant enhancement to Kathua’ sports infrastructure. This initiative, started by Shivang Sharma of Rajbagh, Kathua, aims to provide cricket enthusiasts with a state-of-the-art playing experience.
Prominent attendees included BJP activists Vidya Sagar Sharma, Bhushan Sharma and Amit Sudan, along with Anirudh Bharti, former Councillor of Ward No. 7, and several sports enthusiasts.
Dr. Bhushan lauded Shivang Sharma for introducing this much-needed facility to the city, expressing optimism that it will inspire other youths to explore entrepreneurial ventures. “This cricket turf will serve as an excellent platform for cricket lovers and contribute to the development of sports in Kathua,” he stated.
