JAMMU, July 18: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Jammu East Rajesh Gupta kick started the work of lanes and drains at Mohalla Chand Nagar in Ward Number 19 today. The work is estimated to cost Rs 4.90 lakh.
MLA was accompanied by JMC XEn Joginder and JE Tangroo, senior BJP leaders Ramesh Sharma, Girdhari Lal, Vageesh Bharti, Rajesh Dogra, Kuldeep, Subedar Gurcharan Singh, Prof Shyam, Raj Kumar, Chaman Lal, Rajesh, Amit, Rajinder Gupta, Gopal, Brij Lal, Lalli, Swaran Singh, Sunil Gupta, Opinder Singh and Ashok Lambad.
Rajesh Gupta while speaking said that despite challenges, he will continue with his efforts in developing the State on modern lines. “We are also keeping track of the facilities being provided to the Shri Amarnath Yatris and will ensure that they are not put to any hardship due to stoppages”, he added.
He stated that the arrangements for the boarding and lodging have been made at various places and the services provided by various temple trusts and social organizations are highly laudable.
Rajesh Gupta also asked the people to take full benefit of the various schemes launched by the Government.
Earlier, President of Vivekanand Traders Association Mohan Lal Gupta and Bharat Bhushan welcomed the MLA.
