RAMBAN, May 14: Member Legislative Assembly, Ramban, Neelam Langeh accompanied by ADC, Ramban Babu Ram visited the cloudburst affected area of Batote and personally met with the families of three children who were killed in this natural calamity.
Langeh attended the last rites of the three students and announced Rs. 75000 from CDF to each one for the construction of houses damaged at Batote and adjoining areas due to flash flood. He said that he would also ask the administration for proper assessment of all other of losses.
Later MLA visited entire Batote area where huge loss of crop and property have occurred due to hailstorm and cloudburst. He assured the people that he will take up the matter with Chief Minister for sanction of any other special economic package for Batote.
Tehsildar Batote, Naib Tehsildar Batote and Executive Officer Municipal committee Batote, prominent citizens also accompanied the MLA during the visit.
