JAMMU, Feb 27: Seminary High School (SHS), Chatha and Param Football Club joined hands to start a Football Academy in the region which will work towards development of football in Chatha, Miran Sahib, Simbal and RS Pura areas.
MD of the School, Parshotam Sharma said that it was a much needed initiative for the region since there is no such facility for young kids in area where they can get good coaching under licensed and experienced coaches.
Param FC management was also enthusiastic about this initiative and was confident that clubs efforts to develop football in different regions of state will surely bear fruits in near future.
MLC Vikram Singh Randhawa inaugurated the Academy in the presence of Local Sarpanch Gurmeet Kour and Chairman Avtar Singh.

This academy will run on pay and play format with small sided competitions on weekends. Academy will provide the training equipment and effective coaching to all the registered players from March onwards.
