RAJOURI, July 21: Department of Geography of Government Degree College, Thannamandi today concluded mock test series which was organised in collaboration with IQAC for graduate level students under the guidance of College Principal, Prof (Dr) Javaid Ahmed Qazi.
Dr Khalid Rayaz, organizer and HoD of Geography informed that about 1753 candidates of various colleges and universities participated in which 429 candidates were awarded with e-certificate of appreciations.
Convener, Prof Saleem Ayaz Rather said that nearly 40 percent participants were from Jammu University, Kashmir University, Central University of Jammu, Central University of Kashmir, Cluster University of Jammu, Cluster University Kashmir, besides various colleges of Kashmir province and Jammu province, whereas 60 percent participants were from Haryana, Punjab, Bihar, Kerala, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and other parts of the country.
The mock test series was conducted in various subjects including Geography, Political Science, History, Economics, Environmental Studies, Zoology, Education, Botany, English, Physics, Islamic Studies, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Application, Library Science, Arabic and Geography of India.
Principal of the College appreciated the efforts of Dr Khalid Reyaz and his team member Prof Tahir Nadeem and Waqar Gorsi (Librarian) for conducting such mock test series in various subjects in a magnanimous way.
