JAMMU, May 15: Modern Montessori International (MMI) Preschool Jammu today celebrated Mother’s Day with great fervor in its premises.
The function started with the welcome of mothers. They were presented with mother’s day batches. The effort of matching their get-ups with the theme and their pleasure of participation was affectionately abundant.
Rivika and Jannah of pre-nursery enthralled the environment with the song “I love u Mummy”. Music was made to match the melody of the little voices and the medley was melting. This was followed by the dance by the children of pre-nursery and playgroup.
To pamper the mothers on this special occasion, a flameless cooking competition was organized. The judgement for the best participation was done on the basis of presentation, taste and neatness of the dish prepared. Reyanshi’s mother was the winner.
Different games were played which added fun and laughter to the show. Winner of the game were Prayan’s mother and Ruvika’s mother. Momentos were presented to the mothers by the director of the school.
The mothers were also asked to share their thoughts. Several moms spoke and seemed very touched by this special occasion of bonding. The smiles only stretched as the sentiments surfed.
