JAMMU, Nov 13: Eyeing its Mission 44+, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will launch a vigorous campaign in the State involving all senior national leaders of the Party in campaigning right from Prime Minister Narendra Modi who will address his first poll rally in Kishtwar district of Chenab Valley on November 22.
According to Party sources, the BJP’s campaign will not be confined to visit of its national leaders including Prime Minister, Party president, Amit Shah, Home Minister, Raj Nath Singh, Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley, Foreign Minister, Sushma Swaraj, Minority Affairs Minister, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and other senior leaders but it will for the first time launch a high tech campaigning on the pattern of Lok Sabha elections which were held in April this year.
Sources said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address a public rally in Kishtwar on November 22 ahead of first phase of Jammu and Kashmir polls starting from November 25. This will be followed by his another poll rally in Udhampur on November 30 to campaign for the second phase of polling to be held on December 2, sources added.
“The Prime Minister after completing his three-nation visit will arrive India on November 21 and due to his busy schedule in the coming days, we were able to get the date for Kishtwar rally only which is to be held on November 22,” Party sources here today said.
They said the Prime Minister would address the rally to woo voters for phase one poll in which six Assembly segments comprising Ramban, Banihal, Doda, Bhaderwah, Inderwal and Kishtwar will go to poll on November 25.
Sources added that besides Mr Modi, stalwart leaders like Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and BJP National president would address rallies in Leh region on November 19 and 20 while party firebrand Sushma Swaraj would be visiting Kashmir to address a public rally.
“We had requested for three rallies which was to be addressed by the Prime Minister in the first phase but due to his busy schedule, he was available only on November 22,” they said and added that Mr Modi may also address rallies in the coming days in rest of the phases. This will be followed by another rally of Mr Modi at Udhampur on November 30, sources added.
Sources said Mr Modi will woo the electorate of the Chenab Valley and seek votes for his Party candidates including Sunil Sharma for Kishtwar, Shakti Parihar for Doda, Tariq Keen for Inderwal, Dilip Parihar for Bhadarwah and Neelam Langeh for Ramban and Showkat Deng for Banihal.
Sources said Amit Shah will likely visit Jammu on November 19 to take the stock of arrangements for PM’s visit and also hold detailed meetings with Partymen.
Sources said that BJP is all set to launch a high tech campaigning in Jammu and also launch 3 D Selfie campaigning in the State on November 19 or 20.
Sources said that 3 D meetings will be held in all the district headquarters in Jammu and at Anantnag, Kupwara and Srinagar in Kashmir Valley.
Admitting that Party will launch a high tech aggressive campaign in the State this, Brig. (retd) Anil Gupta in-charge publicity BJP said high profile national leaders will take part in campaigning in the State and party will frame the Government on its own in the State.
Brig (retd) Gupta said that he returned from a hectic tour of Kashmir today said Party is getting a lot of public response in the Valley and it will bag over 10 seats in Valley also.
Ruling out any threat from dissidents, Brig Gupta said it is a normal thing during elections in every party and BJP will rope in all dissidents soon.
“We will go for vigorous campaigning this time to attain the Mission 44+ said Arun Gupta, party spokesman and head of Media Cell. He said Party will also launch an add campaign through print as well as electronic media highlighting its policies and programmes and achievements of Modi led Government Centre.
Sources said the party is also painting the hoardings of Prime Minister across the State.
Party sources said that the BJP as a part of its poll campaign wants to impress the Jammu and Kashmir people by using 3-D technology. “We are receiving the hitech 3D van on November 24 and later it will be used in the poll compaign. The main aim of the 3D services is that the PM Modi sitting at one place will address the lakhs of people of Jammu and Kashmir at the same time,”
Sources said that Modi’s speeches will be telecasted in many areas of the State at the same time with the help of 3D technology and satellite link-ups.
It may be recalled that BJP in its National election campaign used the advanced 3D hologram technology and the leaders of the party addressed scores of rallies in different States on the same day with the help of 3D-Hologram Technology.
Meanwhile, the BJP is also painting the posters, hoardings of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi all over the State.
The posters at intersections, arterial roads, districts and commercial spaces have been put up either by the party, or leaders who want to score brownie points with the party’s senior leadership.
