SRINAGAR, Apr 3:  Former Union Minister and veteran Congress leader Prof Saif-ud-din Soz has said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should take note of the advice of Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani on resumption of dialogue on Kashmir without wasting any time.
In a press statement here today, former PCC chief said that PM Modi could genuinely be urged to listen to the positive advice offered by Syed Ali Shah Geelani.
“In my opinion, Syed Ali Shah Geelani gave the right advice to PM Modi to be a statesman and resolve Kashmir dispute for good. His other colleagues in the Hurriyat do seem to be supportive of this advice.
Keen observers of Kashmir politics say that Hurriyat’s latest advice is a positive contribution towards resolution of the dispute.
These keen  observers also feel that PM Modi is not being served well by his advisers who make him repeat hollow Mantara  of  ‘Insaniyat, Jamhuriyat and Kashmiriyat’.
The general run of the Kashmiris feel the repetition of this Mantra is nothing more than a hoax for Kashmiris.”
Soz further said that PM Modi must also understand that the expression ‘development’ also constitutes a hollow message for the people who suffer from a deep hurt feeling in their heart and mind.
“It is high time that PM Modi appreciates, in full measure, that no further time can be wasted for resuming a meaningful dialogue to resolve the Kashmir dispute,” Soz added.
