REASI, May 26: Mohd Tarique, son of Late Mohd Alam, resident of Samote and a student of class IX of Army Public School, brought laurels to the area by winning a Gold medal in junior category of Indian Open Taekwondo Cup held at Mumbai, Maharastra.
Army with the aim of providing quality education to the bright students of far flung areas and militancy affected families has sponsored many students presently studying in various Army Public Schools and Mohd Tarique is one among them.
A total of seven students have been sponsored by Rashtriya Rifles Battalion at Samote under the aegis of Uniform Force.
